Introducing your new Community Caretakers for Walcot and Park North as part of the Pride in Place Programme.
Funded through Pride in Place, South Swindon Parish Council has recruited two Community Caretakers.
They’ll be designated specifically to Walcot and Park North. Their work will focus on addressing some of the issues that local residents have raised as a priority, including graffiti removal, cleaning road signs and street furniture, fly tipping and weeding.
The Community Caretakers are building on existing services in the area and will not replace the services that Council teams already undertake across South Swindon.
We will share photos and updates as the caretakers begin tackling some of these much needed tasks.
We encourage residents to join us over the coming months in a series of Community Action Days where we can take pride in Walcot and Park North together.
