DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Community Litter Pick! \nLet’s come together\, get some fresh air\, and make our neighbourhood cleaner and greener and cleaner. We receive a substantial number of reports about high levels of litter. \nDate: 06/05/2026 \nMeeting point: Buckhurst Community Centre\, SN3 3BS. \nTime: 3pm-5pm \nAll ages welcome (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult)— bags and gloves provided afterwards light refreshments and teas\, coffees\, water\, fruit and biscuits provided. Bring your energy\, your neighbours\, and maybe even a friend or two. Small actions make a big difference. \nIf you’re in\, drop a comment or just turn up. Let’s do this together \n

We’ll be litter picking across key streets and green spaces\, and painting local signs to brighten up the area and make it feel cared for. \n\nWhat will we be doing? \n\nLitter Picking- clearing pathways\, parks and shared spaces.\nSign Painting- cleaning and painting the two vintage Walcot signs.\nCommunity Connection- chatting\, meeting neighbours and building pride in Walcot and Park North.\n\nWhat to bring? \nWaterproof and sensible shoes. Light refreshments will be offered e.g. water and biscuits and fruit. \n \n\n\n
