Recently our Community Caretaker team responded to a fly-tipping incident on Frobisher Drive, where a quantity of unwanted waste had been illegally dumped.
Fly-tipping not only creates an eyesore for residents but can also pose environmental and safety risks to the local community. Following reports from residents, the waste was promptly removed and the area was thoroughly cleared to restore the space for everyone to enjoy.
We would like to thank local residents who reported the issue and helped us identify the problem quickly. Community vigilance plays an important role in keeping our neighbourhoods clean, safe and welcoming for all.
We would also like to remind residents that fly-tipping is illegal and can result in significant fines or prosecution. If you need to dispose of bulky items or household waste, please use authorised disposal services or your local recycling centre.
If you spot fly-tipping or any environmental concerns in your area, please report them so that we can take action as quickly as possible.
Together, we can help keep our communities clean and cared for.
