A huge welcome to Jessica Higgins, newly appointed Chair of the Pride in Walcot & Park North Community Board.
Jessica Higgins has been nominated as the independent chair, subject to final checks and approvals.
Ms Higgins said: “I’m delighted to be taking on the role of chair for Pride in Place and to support the development of a programme that has the potential to create meaningful and lasting impact for the community.
“For me, the priority is helping to build strong foundations from the beginning through good governance, strong engagement and collaborative working, so that the programme grows in a way that is ambitious, community-led and sustainable for the future.”
For now, Jessica’s focus is on recruiting the neighbourhood board while supporting early community engagement initiatives.
